4. What challenges immediately pop up in your head when you hear about the idea to eat meat sparingly?

  1. I really like meat! A good steak dinner for date night - yum! Even still, it would be much easier for me to eat meat more sparingly than it would be for my husband. A definite challenge. Especially because he just got his dream BBQ for Christmas.

  2. Since I grew up eating meat as the main course and the biggest portion on your plate, a meal often doesn't feel like a meal (psychologically) unless there is meat on the plate. I'm reading the blogs you've referenced for recipe ideas. My other challenge is that my husband LOVES meat. Perhaps if I get great at cooking delicious non-meat meals he will love that as well. This sounds like something I really need to do and really want to do.

  3. You CAN"T make the switch to eating meat sparingly without getting your spouse on board. If he fights it, it won't happen. That is the obstacle many of my friends have had. So sharing the knowledge and readings with a spouse is crucial.

  4. I think when you go to people's houses for dinner, or they bring you dinner.
