Good, Better, Best Monday

Like many of you, I have recently felt a great need to change what and how my family eats. I started reading books, articles online and talks relating to the Word of Wisdom on LDS.org. One talk in particular has been my guide as I make changes in my family's diet. It is a talk given by Dallin H. Oaks called Good, Better, Best. He does not specifically mention food in his talk, but it applies nicely. I am not an expert in nutrition. I'm just a wife and mom who wants to do better (or best!) when it comes to what I prepare for my family to eat. I still have a lot to learn, but many small changes add up. That's what these weekly Good, Better, Best posts will be about - small, simple changes. I have many ideas, but would also love to hear YOUR IDEAS. If you have a Good, Better, Best idea to share, please email me.

:) Rebecca

  1. Eating healthy is a process of going from good, to better, to best. Baby steps. Line upon line, precept upon prescept. I like this concept.
