Edible Giftable: Boiled Cider Syrup

I can't say enough about how much I love this.

Get a jug of cider.
Put in all in a pot.
Let it boil and simmer down until thick and syrupy.
Put in a pretty bottle or jar.
Give away to nice people and tell them how it will give a cup of herbal tea, a bowl of oatmeal, a stack of buckwheat pancakes, or an apple scone recipe just the right touch.

One gallon on cider yields about 2-3 cups of syrup (or concentrated apple bliss).
